Founders meeting @jaffo - divide and conquer!

Well First we exchanged bits and now we're exchanging ideas and finally meeting again.
The founding team (Meni, Zohar, Doron, Nadav, Yael, Avigail, Sami and Me) will meet in thursday at 15:00 in the port and start divided in to groups.
This is a rough draft of what i think (I spoke to Doron eariler) so don;t get to excited if you find yourself in the "wrong" group.

Financial group (raise money through organization and commercial memberships)
- Doron: Enterprise tech vertical
- Avigail: Media, General vertical
- Yael & Lior : Startups

Sea Demon 2.0

We're (me & Zohar) back from DrupalCon in San Fransisco with the physical location of the cantina unraveling and things starting to warm up...
We where shown several spaces in the jaffo port and we are focusing on a 300 meter space which used to be a restaurant called - "שד הים" which translates to "Sea Demon".
I visited the place together with Meni and Nadav and we where impressed by the location, the actual space and the positive vibes coming from the team from the port management team.
We received a quote for the cost of the rent and we need to see if we can still optimize it a bit.

We had a great visit with the french delegation last month and would like to thank again Nicole, Stephane, Sarah and Ori.
We where a bit less vocal and communicative but rest assured we are still around and just getting more and more excited.
We met Sharon Keren the CEO of the Tel Aviv - Jafo Economic Development Authority which is in charge of allocation of physical space and found a deep understanding to our direction and a keen intrest in open innovation and open source.
We will meet him tomorrow in the Jafo port a fascinating area which we scouted during the visit I really hope this place will work out.
This is a place high profile companies will pay to come for..
This is a place which can satisfy a market in tel aviv for small 100-150 venue for conferences.
I really hope this will evolve to be our new home...
